How It Works

1. Book Your Appointment:
   • Schedule an appointment at the appropriate Embassy, Consulate General, or Honorary Consul’s office.
2. Prepare Your Documents:
   • Use our detailed checklist to gather all required documents.
3. Attend Your Appointment:
   • Present yourself in person for identification, biometric data capture, and document verification.
4. Processing & Delivery:
   • Your application is processed by the relevant authorities. Once approved, your new passport or ID card is sent to you by courier.
5. Ongoing Support:
   • We provide continuous support and updates throughout the process.

Documents Required

Please bring the ORIGINAL and ONE PHOTOCOPY of each document to your appointment. Documents not issued in German, English, Spanish, or French must include a certified translation.

• Completed and signed application form (download available on our website)
• Valid original passport
  • Issued within the last 10 years
  • Valid for at least 3 months beyond your planned departure
  • Contains at least 2 blank pages
• One photocopy of the passport’s bio-data page
• Proof of address (e.g., recent utility bill, council tax bill, or bank statement)
• One recent biometric passport photo (taken within the last 3 months, meeting biometric standards)
• Special Delivery envelope (self-addressed and prepaid up to 500g) for document return
• Additional documents as required by your specific application (e.g., birth certificate, marriage certificate, name change evidence, etc.)

Important Information

• All required documents must be presented in original form along with a photocopy.
• Documents should be recent (not older than one month). If a document is not in German, English, Spanish, or French, a certified translation is required.
• Missing or incomplete documentation may result in delays or require rebooking your appointment.
• Processing times vary by consular district; please refer to our guidelines for expected timeframes.
• If there have been significant changes in your circumstances since your last application, additional documents may be necessary.
